It was an interactive and theatrical fashion show with models trying the alternative nature of their looks and presenting on catwalk the different choices each of the convertible pieces of clothing could offer. The models were helping each other transform the smartly assembled pieces into others, equally elegant and interesting. JeAnS collection designer Antonis Spathas, presented a fascinating sample of his creativity, attracting attention from his audience. His multi-faceted artistic personality which revolves around art, styling (hair and make-up) and fashion design was totally expressed in this show at AXDW for his Fall/Winter 2011/12 collection, which was based on the same concept as his previous one in October 2010. We should point out of course that the designer worked thoroughly on this idea and came up with a charming evolution of it. We loved the foliage-like coats, the zipper-detailed ensembles, the multi-purpose dresses, and the sportive spirit of the whole styling. The result was fresh and innovative, directed in a way that proved fashion’s limitless ability to interpret the beauty of everyday life in wearable terms. It is not surprising that JeAnS took this time the Best Catwalk Award at AXDW!
