Annarita N Joins Carillo Fashion Spa’s Premium-Luxury Expansion

In an exciting development for the Italian fashion industry, the renowned Bologna-based women’s clothing brand Annarita N, founded in 1995, is now part of the Carillo Fashion Spa portfolio. This acquisition marks a significant step in Carillo Fashion Spa’s expansion strategy, solidifying its presence in the premium-luxury segment of the fashion market.

Founded by Michele Carillo, Carillo Fashion Spa has been steadily growing, especially after the acquisition of the Roman brand Sandro Ferrone in 2020. With this latest move, the group is set to diversify its offerings, appealing to a broader audience. Michele Carillo explained, “We decided to enter a new segment, the premium-luxury market, by acquiring 100% of a historic brand synonymous with refinement, elegance, and craftsmanship, all proudly Made in Italy.”

Annarita N, known for its refined tailoring and elegant designs, will target the modern, independent businesswoman, a clientele that values both sophistication and functionality in their wardrobe. This addition complements Carillo Fashion Spa’s other brands, such as Aké (for young women under 25), Lizalù (focused on curvy women), and Sandro Ferrone (timeless elegance).

The acquisition isn’t just about expanding the brand lineup—it is part of a broader vision to propel the company onto the international stage. Carillo Fashion Spa is investing in a highly skilled team and focusing on ambitious goals to scale the company globally. The Creative Director, Anna Carillo, will lead the brand’s design and communication efforts, ensuring that Annarita N stays at the forefront of fashion innovation.

Looking ahead, a five-year relaunch plan has been established for Annarita N, involving structured commercial development and a top-secret launch event, which will feature leading Italian influencers and fashion media. The brand’s relaunch is set to enhance its visibility and cement its position in the high-end fashion market.

With Carillo Fashion Spa reaching €50 million in revenue and operating more than 30 retail outlets, the group aims for a 10% growth by 2024-2025, focusing on strengthening its position and expanding internationally. The acquisition of Annarita N marks another step in this dynamic company’s growth journey, signaling a bright future for both the brand and Carillo Fashion Spa as a whole.
