Pure Greek Talent Exists in Abundance

There is a lot of talent to be extracted from Fine Arts’ nursery in Greece including those enthusiastic and inspiring students who presented recently their fashion-themed work at Athens Fashion Week finale. Imaginative, new-generation artists interpreted in unexpected ways fashion’s power to accommodate, protect, or expose human body, at a breathtaking catwalk show. Employing unbelievable elements such as teddy bears, clothes pins, simple pins, plastic forks, spoons and plates, nylon sheets etc., they constructed symbolic, meaningful looks, not necessarily wearable but worthy of exhibiting to a broader audience. During those five fashion week days, guests had the chance to see this work in process watching the students elaborating on their material at their on-site, pop-up workshop. The result was amazing by itself, and further reinforced by the show’s impressive direction.
