I bought this limited edition Yarnz scarf from net-a-porter and now I am glad to announce to you that I am wearing my favorite photographer’s image. The whole print includes also famous bloggers and photographers such as Scott Schuman, Garance Doré, Bryan Boy, Tavi and most likely Suzie Bubble! I love it because it represents my current vivid interest for street style, and as a blogger myself my support for this recently established form of journalism which really takes over the world of fashion and has a huge impact to this industry on a global scale. For me Bill Cunningham is a symbol of ever-youth, complete devotion to his art, deep knowledge of fashion history, humbleness and elitism at the same time, amateur approach to professionalism and pure positive spirit. Can’t wait to see him again during MB NY Fashion Week, running up and down at Lincoln Center and elsewhere around the City, taking the best pictures ever, the more spontaneous, accurate, smart and have-something-to-say ones! This collectible silk-and-cashmere scarf is just a tiny homage to his overwhelming, courageous and charming talent… By the way, have you seen the documentary about him? If not, you really have to!
