Iconic jewelry brand Erickson Beamon joined forces with LeSportsac to create a Holiday 2014 collection that is a whimsical, elegant, and timeless feast for the eyes. It’s as if you are carrying with you jewels but in fact they are jewelry images manipulated so as to become eye-catching prints strategically placed on bags. They are all very practical – a Lesportsac signature element – but also visually unexpected and appealing! It’s an amazing 20s-inspired Art Deco collection to be available online but most importantly in an amazing pop-up store in NYC till December 15th.
The celebrated jewelry empire came up with a Winter Collection that features a new print and fabrication, new placements, and a new style just in time for your next holiday party! It features a variety of styles including clutch, crossbody, backpack, tote, weekender, carry-on, and garment bag as well as small accessories such as scarf, jewelry roll and cosmetic pouches.
Holiday adds Duchess of Fabulous, a photo-real crystal print softened with touches of blush, inspired by Erickson Beamon’s own holiday jewelry collection. This print will be available in 10 styles, including the new gift-worthy and dainty Debbie Wristlet. Its gold-tone metal frame enclosure brings holiday shine, and its ripstop nylon handle easily slips over the wrist just like your favorite bracelet.
‘I was able to take jewelry pieces, of my collection, turn them into prints, and bring them to life on a handbag… I enlarged images of the jewelry to create my own prints. The result is at once photo-realistic and somewhat abstract,’ Karen Erickson explained.
