During Fuorisalone 2025, Genny steps into the world of luxury interiors with the unveiling of its first-ever home design creation—a sumptuous hand-woven rug titled Il Giardino delle Orchidee (The Orchid Garden). A seamless extension of the brand’s signature sophistication and grace, the rug blends Himalayan wool and natural silk into a tactile celebration of the orchid, Genny’s emblematic flower.
Conceived by creative director Sara Cavazza Facchini in collaboration with Milanese textile house Illulian—renowned for its artisanal mastery—the rug captures the essence of Genny’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection through a delicate palette of elegant, muted hues. Each thread reflects the maison’s refined aesthetic, marrying the fashion world with the realm of high-end living.
Unveiled exclusively at the Genny boutique on Via della Spiga 6a during Milan Design Week, the rug is more than a decorative piece—it’s a collectible statement of beauty, craft, and timeless femininity. Custom orders are also available, allowing design lovers to bring a piece of runway-inspired art into their own interiors.
