Kim Kardashian, in her debut appearance at Met Gala, once again managed to receive negative comments for her wardrobe choice, and although I really love Riccardo Tisci’s work, I have to say that this floral dress and matching gloves and shoes were not flattering at all. I’m sure that she can look far more sophisticated now that she’s pregnant, and visually seems ready to ‘explode’. Trying myself to think of an alternative, I came up with the idea of a very structured A-line, almost cone-shaped, metallic white brocade floor-length coat-dress, which would definitely cover her ‘more than curvy’ body and reveal the beauty of her face. White and metallic shine would add cinematic glow to her photogenic face, while the full length and width of the creation would make a reference to royal attires. It would further be a twist to her attitude, showing that her pregnancy is not always a public issue, but something private, with the baby pump being kept under luxury fabrics at least for a while! After all, let me ask you: Are you all in love with her huge belly and the rest? Or would you prefer her to become a bit more discreet and less revealing about that? And what do you think about my suggested creation? Honestly, I don’t think that it was Tisci’s fault, and personally I would love to see Kim’s floral dress, on the right body type…
