One of the most famous hairstylists in NY, Orlando Pita created magnificent looks for the models at the Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2011 show, during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The inspiration came from the perfectionist Korean attitude on dressing up. Such an inspiration required precision in execution, graphic/geometrical approach and cool accessories such as those made of hair and cut into squares.
The hairstyles were perfect for the situation enhancing even more the designer’s vision on colours, prints, and floral appliqués again coming from the Korean tradition and especially from men’s folk wardrobe. Pita’s magic tool for making such beautiful hairstyles is a product line based on Moroccan oil. He tamed with cream the hair ends, then blow-dried to make them smoother and straight. He pinned the “hair barrettes” diagonally, horizontally and vertically and that way achieved dramatic graphic patterns. He made two different styles on them – an updo and a ponytail.
Ένας από τους πιο ακριβοπληρωμένους κομμωτές της Ν. Υόρκης ήταν ο δημιουργός των hairstyles στο show της Carolina Herrera. Από αυτά δεν ξέφευγε ούτε τρίχα ενώ όλοι παρατήρησαν το βασικό συστατικό της επιτυχίας, τις μπαρέτες από φυσική τρίχα.
