Luminosa: A Radiant Tribute to Light at Moiré Gallery Milano

During Fuorisalone 2025, Moiré Gallery Milano transforms into a luminous sanctuary with its new collective setup, “Luminosa.” Located in the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero at Via Borgospesso 18, the gallery and concept store invite visitors to immerse themselves in an evocative journey where light takes center stage.

Light, as a primordial and ancestral element, serves as the central theme, exploring its role from ancient symbolism to modern design. The exhibition weaves together the warmth of candlelight with contemporary lighting installations, showcasing a harmonious blend of design, fashion, art, and jewelry.

The journey begins with timeless light sources, including the minimalist candle holders by Lind DNA and the Murano glass sculptures by Vetrofuso, such as the surreal “Eyes Mirror” and the symbolic “Turtle Shell.” Moving into contemporary aesthetics, the “Overlight” lamps by Ntaiana Charalampous and the geometric creations of Hagit Pincovici combine innovative design with a sculptural presence. The past is honored through rare vintage pieces like the “Ginkgo” brass lamp by Tommaso Barbi and the iconic “Alberello” lamp by Stilnovo.

Adding a human touch, Tita’s art pieces depict urban light through abstract and figurative forms, complemented by live artistic performances throughout the week. Veronica Gaido’s evocative photographs, inspired by Caravaggio, highlight the interplay between movement and candlelight, presenting the human form as a canvas illuminated by over three hundred candles.

Fashion and jewelry also make their radiant mark. Antonino Valenti’s shimmering dresses and Michela Bruni Reichlin’s gemstone jewelry infuse the gallery with a sense of luxury and craftsmanship, highlighting the fusion of tradition and contemporary design.

“Luminosa” is a symbol of hope, as Ouafa Lotfi Tahoun, the founder and curator of Moiré Gallery, explains: “It’s a light turned on in this dark historical moment, a reminder that despite challenges, there’s always a reason to hope.”

The exhibition opens with an exclusive event on April 7th and promises to captivate with its unique exploration of light as both a physical and metaphorical element, offering a multi-sensory experience to visitors from around the globe.
