Heritage and locally made luxury are priorities for a designer favorite to the elite. During NYFW ladies from historic families love to wear his glamorous, opulent creations, and attend his shows. This time, due to the pandemic, Dennis Basso participated with a digital show aired online from his atelier in New York. He is definitely among the designers who support this city!
The inspiration for this Dennis Basso collection is based on menswear fabrics with haberdashery styling and tailoring with a feminine touch. Focused on the heritage of the brand, the line is composed of primarily outerwear and fur in addition to a capsule collection of evening and occasion daywear. Luxurious cashmere, plaids, and velvets are artfully combined with sheared mink, fisher, fox, chinchilla, broadtail, and sable. As always, the collection is designed, produced, and manufactured in New York City, as it has been for the past 38 years.
