I’m eternally obsessed with taking street style pics because I think they represent original style; the way real and ‘surreal’ people interpret the trends and adopt the latest collections. Stylists and designers quite often resort to street style for inspiration, especially now that Instagram has become a huge on-the-go virtual library of personal style. My own account has been filled with colorful interpretations of what went recently down the runway, mixed with vintage and previous collections, and served as imaginative combos worn by fashionistas from all over the world during the fashion week. Till now – a month later – I haven’t managed to upload and post all of the pictures I took from NYFW. They are snaps of people, expressions and looks that were passing by around me, and I instantly and instinctively captured them mostly with my iPhone. I don’t like people to pose; I prefer more natural, organic snaps that feature movement and include a short of narrative of what’s going on. There’s a story behind each photo, and in many instances, you can really ‘read’ it with no need of a caption underneath. I captured people busy, excited, in a hurry, on their way to shows and events, in a mood that reveals passion for fashion. So happy that I’m sharing them with you! Check this post more than once, because I’ll be adding gradually more and more pics, one after the other!
Love you all!!!
