She is always elegant and she proved it once more during the NYFW! Olivia Palermo attended the Taoray Wang show during New York Fashion Week at Spring Studios wearing a Taoray Wang custom made-to-measure blazer. She styled it with jeans and biker boots to exude that edgy factor. She rolled her sleeves up and layered them over extra-long ones. She definitely gave a cool thumbs-up to the designer and I totally agree with her because Taoray Wang is one of my favorite brands too.
The Taoray Wang 2018 Autumn/Winter 2018 collection is inspired by Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia. The monarch was a patron of the arts, culture and education and became the country’s longest-ruling female leader during the Russian Age of Enlightenment. Born to a noble German family Catherine transformed herself through determination to eventual rule of the world’s then-largest empire.
Enlightenment Empress combines the classic with the modern, the East and West, reinterpreting the military uniform and iconic olive-green with striking shades of red which embody the Russian spirit. The Military uniform, often a symbol of masculine power, is gracefully transformed with feminine epaulets detailing, and the softening of bold lines that embodies the tenacity of the modern woman.
