A big book releasing dreamy stories about beauty, style, travel spirit and cosmopolitan attitude was the central feature and item at Rebecca Moses’ standing, seating and lying models’ presentation! The creations, as well as the setting, inspired by trips to great cities and places of the world were stunning. The whole idea was full of colors, patterns and decoration reminding as Alice in Wonderland. There were huge fairytale books books, huge paper cups of coffee and sketches coming from famous sightseeings. I loved the big polka dots, the animal print dresses in combination with fancy colored high heels, the glamorous ethnic looks, the nude shades and the girly bijoux, in between the Eiffel Tower and the Giza Pyramides!!! Rebecca Moses is known for her luxury ready-to-wear collections in Italy and for revolutionizing the pallet and seasonless appeal of cashmere. For Spring 2011 she pays special attention to dresses which end up being iconic and to floral prints or flowers in general. Spring/Summer 2011 is her first collection presented in MB Fashion Week in NY since moving to Italy 20 years ago. Her return coincides with the release of her first book “A life of Style”.
