The Accessories to Wear to the New York Fashion Week in February 2018!

I was thinking of all these ways and tricks that help you stand out during the fashion week, and the fact that some pieces are real conversation-starters, especially the must-haves of the season. People focus on certain designers, and they all dress in them and around them. In fact, there are plenty more brands that can get you a show-stopping photographable look, but I center my analysis here on the bestselling accessories.

Bags:

There are many logos taking over streetstyle and one of the most interesting ideas within this trend will be logo overlapping. These bags – such as Off-White Sculpture Luggage Bag – come in various sizes and sporty styles. They are even styled with dressier combos. There are also lots of geometric shapes including squares and rectangles. The infamous cartoon bags by Prada and Moschino are already making waves. Also velvet bags are expected to stay during SS18 and clear plastic bags are a prominent trend.

And for the record, let’s pick colors such as electric blue, neon green, pristine white, and raffia neutrals. There is embellishment everywhere, as you might see designers want to turn handbags into works of art. Classic shapes and whimsical details blend together. Fendi and Gucci are experts in that. And nobody forgets the little bucket purse. Bows are another detail that infuses the looks with girliness. Candid colors and smooth metallic details play an important role into the design. Also buckles such as those seen in the BOYY purses. They add a pilgrim touch to the shapes.

It’s very interesting that some of the coolest purses are not yet out in the market. They will appear quite later so that only fashion insiders rock them during the NYFW. Anyway, you can just get inspired by the silhouettes and adopt these elements through styles that are currently on sale. Belt bags are developing into real fashion statements. Chinese cultural influences are also experiencing a hype. Baroque elements glamorize daywear. There are edgier styles and cult/kitsch elements with oversize gems to the forefront, but also increased sophistication in terms of coloring. Designers want to break the rules with glitzy and glam details such as in the Gucci Sylvie Mini Satin Shoulder Bag. Yet they also mix it with a green and red Web shoulder strap.

For those who abide with the classics, we believe that the Loewe Hammock Small Leather Tote is an investment piece. And the coolest new classic shape is the Fendi Kan I F Mini Leather Shoulder Bag while the Balenciaga Classic City Graffiti Leather Tote is the rebellious classic.

Shoes:

The quest for comfort in chilly weather and within an active lifestyle dictates the extensive use of stylish sneakers. Get those decorated with gems and glitter such as the Valentino Garavani Fly Crew Glitter Sneakers. Interchangeable laces transform them into different shoes such as in the case of the OFF-WHITE Canvas and Suede Sneakers. The result of the most coveted collaboration of the season – the VETEMENTS X Reebok Logo Instapump Fury Sneakers – is just a hint at what it girls will wear to the NYFW. Hot red sneakers are also a must have, including the Balenciaga Race Runner Leather Sneakers and similar ones by Givenchy. For added height, you can also pick the Alexander Mcqueen Leather Platform Sneakers.

At a lower price level you will find the color-trending Puma Basket Platform Velvet Sneakers. But the most NYFW-worthy – both comfy and glam – are the Alexander Mcqueen Glitter Sneakers and the OFF-WHITE (Exclusive to Mytheresa.Com) Leather Sneakers. In addition to the latest trends, a classic that remains from other seasons is the Roger Vivier Sneaky Viv Embellished High-Top Sneaker. In various bold colors, you might also like the Balenciaga Speed Trainer Sneakers. Think also of the shocking pink and beige Fendi High-Top Sneakers. In general, rainbow colors get much of the attention street-wise. Fur details land sneakers as an excusable protection from chilly weather settings.

Love!!!
