Inspired by forest culture, Toni Francesc presented a Spring/Summer 2011 Collection in warm shades, nudes and modern styles enriched with tree trunk details and accessories such as tree-log-shaped handbags. Dresses, jackets and blouses in fluid as well as tailored, fitted forms made a statement, as combinations of peach with wonderful neutrals, some of them having a soft metallic glow. Tops with interesting draping were possibly suggested as the smartest camouflage for less privileged silhouettes. Most outfits had both soft and hard parts – a synthesis of quite different materials – which was amazing in terms of texture and form. There were elements floating, together with rigid ones, in complete harmony. Once more, Toni made a very good impression during the MB Fashion Week. I really enjoyed the show and it seems that the designer did the same, literally leaping for joy on the catwalk at the finale. Look at my photos in the following gallery!
