According to the urban dictionary online “gender fluid is a gender identity best described as a dynamic mix of boy and girl. A person who is gender fluid may always feel like a mix of the two traditional genders, but may feel more boy some days, and more girl other days. The whole need for clarification came up lately when US Vogue deemed necessary to apologize for describing in a recent magazine story Zayn Malik and model girlfriend Gigi Hadid as ‘gender fluid’ only because they are occasionally borrowing each other’s T-shirts. The thing got huge throughout the social media with people asking how could gender fluidity be only reduced to men and women borrowing each other’s cloths and adopting androgynous looks. In an era of over-dominating political correctness, fashion-forward people are being called “gender fluid” and fashion magazines find it hard to meet the challenge of increasing terminology. In fact, US Vogue artfully presented a young and beautiful couple having fun with fashion. Their eclectic boy-meets-girl outfits on its cover look stunning and definitely of the moment.
Lots of love!
